Remarks.
This species has been recorded from Europe and Russia ( Menzel and Mohrig 1997), and is recorded here from Japan for the first time. While the European specimens of this species have macrotrichia on distal part of the wing membrane, two males from Japan examined in this study are devoid of these macrotrichia. However, other morphological characters including genitalia of these two males from Japan are identical to those of European specimens.
