Remarks.

Hypselostomatidae were originally introduced as a subfamily of Chondrinidae ( Zilch 1959) . In the same work, the subfamily Aulacospirinae Zilch, 1959 was erected, later synonymised by Schileyko (1998). Bouchet et al. (2017) treated Hypselostomatinae as a subfamily of Gastrocoptidae , while some authors used Hypselostomatidae ( Páll-Gergely 2023 a, b; Páll-Gergely and White 2023; Gojšina et al. 2022) Vertiginidae ( Panha 1998 a; Tanmuangpak and Dumrongrojwattana 2022) or Pupillidae ( Burch and Panha 2002; Panha and Burch 2002 a) to classify these representatives.
