Basionym: Aleurodiscus bambusinus S.H. He & Y.C. Dai, MycoKeys View in CoL 37: 95. 2018.

Notes: The species was recently described from southern China on dead bamboo ( Tian et al. 2018). The paratype specimen (He 4263) was nested within the Gloeomyces View in CoL clade and has typical morphological structures of the genus.
