Basionym: Aleurodiscus tenuissimus L.D. Dai & S.H. He, Mycoscience View in CoL 58 (3): 214. 2017.

Notes: The present phylogenetic analyses based on a more complete sampling of Stereaceae View in CoL reveal that Aleurodiscus tenuissimus View in CoL nested within the Gloeocystidiopsis View in CoL lineage ( Fig. 1 View Fig ). Furthermore, the morphology of the species fits well the Gloeocystidiopsis ( Dai et al. 2017a) View in CoL . Thus, the combination is proposed here.
