Notes

Alloperla voinae is commonly known as the Lawrence Sallfly ( Stark et al. 2012). This species is considered rare in Canada and the USA and is subsequently listed as vulnerable to extirpation or extinction throughout its range ( NatureServe 2024). Records are available for Canada from Nova Scotia and Quebec and in the USA only from Maine southeast to Massachusetts and New York ( Surdick 2004, DeWalt et al. 2024). Adults have been collected in New York between mid-June and late July (Fig. 26 View Figure 26 ) from cold, small to medium sized streams at elevations ranging from 248-663 m asl (Fig. 27 View Figure 27 ) in Level IV Ecoregions Adirondack High Peaks (58 z), Eastern Adirondack Foothills (58 ac), and Central Adirondacks (58 ad) (Fig. 28 f View Figure 28 f ).
