Description (summarized from Haeckel, 1872 (II): 43): Barely recognizable. It is described as forming an anastomosing network of thin tubes similar to Clathrina coriacea . Walls of the tubes with unorganized layer of triactines, shaped irregularly: unequiangular and unequiactinal. No further information.
Type locality: Singapore (collected by Putnam) .
