Remarks: This species was originally described from the northeastern part of the USA ( Massachusetts) and is now recorded up to the Ural Mountains in mid Palaearctic. It is rather polymorphic within this wide range and several species may be involved ( Babenko & Skarżyński 2011).
General distribution: Nearctic and Eastern Palaearctic.
