Lectotype (Wijnands, Bot. Commelins: 86. 1983): Herb. Linn. No. 1036.17 ( LINN) .

Current name: Ursinia paleacea (L.) Moench View in CoL ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Prassler (in Mitt. Bot. Staatssamml. München 6: 411-416. 1967) rejected this as a nomen ambiguum but Wijnands disagreed, typifying the name and taking it up in Ursinia (see also Wijnands in Taxon 34: 311. 1985).
