Notes

Similar to I. stramentarius . Seems to be slightly more opportunistic in hibernacula. Has been found on all kinds of dead trees (also without bark), below stones and in grass tussocks, but also even in caves ( Seyrig 1926 b), in a buried chestnut ( Verheyde and Quicke 2022) or below sand bags (Naturbasen).
