Saga pedo (Pallas, 1771) View in CoL ( Fig. 1)
Material examined. Ukraine: Transcarpathian Region , Chorna Gora, 48.138338° N, 23.073689° E, 280 m, 20.05.2018, on grass, 1 ♀ (Varga) GoogleMaps .
Hitherto, the westernmost point of distribution of the predatory bush-cricket Saga pedo in Ukraine was Kasova Gora in Galych District (Pushkar et al., 2009). Mateleshko & Mirutenko (2018) have already published the first record of this species in the Transcarpathian lowland; they found several specimens in Beregovo District and assumed the possibility of distribution of the species in other similar habitats of the Transcarpathian Region. During my field work on Chorna Gora (Vynogradiv District) I observed one Saga pedo female on the southern slope of the mountain. Due to the protected status of this species (Pushkar et al., 2009) I have taken only an image of the specimen seen ( Fig. 1).
