Distribution. This genus is so far known only from Taiwan and is found in mountainous areas in central and southern Taiwan.

Life history. Adults have been collected during summer through winter; however, calling behavior were observed primarily during autumn and winter, during which multiple individuals were frequently observed to aggregate and engage in calling activity. Whether the new species exhibits similar seasonal and acoustic behavior remains unknown, and further observations are needed to clarify its life history.
