Locality: “Baie Orange, American meridionalis ubi detexit cl. Doc. Hyades” in 1886; “Baie Orange” in 1889.
Remarks: It is strange that neither Mabille & Rochebrurne (1889) nor Pilsbry (1892b) mentioned the earlier description by Mabille of this or the following species, P. rigophila .

Locality: In 1886 stated to be the same as for P. leptotera ; in 1889 stated to be “Autour de la baie Orange, vers une altitude de 100m (Mission du Cap Horn).”
