Lectotype (Fernald & Griscom in Rhodora 37: 177. 1935; Reveal in Jarvis & al., Regnum Veg. 127: 79. 1993): Herb. Linn. No. 107.1, right specimen ( LINN) .

Generitype of Proserpinaca Linnaeus.

Current name: Proserpinaca palustris L. View in CoL ( Haloragaceae ).

Note: Fernald & Griscom (1935) designated 107.1 (LINN) as the type; Reveal subsequently restricted this to one of the specimens as the sheet bears a mixture of taxa.
