Periboea Stål 1867: 521; name preoccupied.

Vandiemenia Distant 1910: 588; Kirkaldy 1909: 141 (syn.).

Type species. Cuspicona pulchra Stål 1867 , by monotypy.

Diagnosis. Described by Gross (1976). Elongate-oval to elongate species. Lateral angles of pronotum shortly truncate. Male genitalia: claspers F-shaped, theca squat with 1 pair of membranous conjunctival appendages. Median penial lobes present, ejaculatory duct short. Female genitalia: seventh laterotergites prominent triangular. Spermathecal bulb with up to 3 long processes.
