Note. Larson (1969) mentions the species’ distribution in southern California, United States, very close to the border with Baja California, Mexico. Ball & Bousquet (2000) refer to the species’ distribution in the Sonoran Desert, which includes a small part of Baja California Norte. However, no locality on the peninsula is mentioned in any of the cited works.
