Current name: Brachiaria ramosa (L.) Stapf View in CoL ( Poaceae ).

Note: The typification of this name is attributable to Cope (June 1982), who published it some months ahead of Clayton & Renvoize (in Polhill, Fl. Trop. E. Africa, Gramineae 3: 599. 5 November 1982).
