( Figs 159–165 View FIGURES 159–165 )
Diagnosis. Belonging to group buitrerensis . It is more closely related to S. juliani sp. nov., but unlike this one it presents the phallobase widened and truncated basally ( Fig. 165 View FIGURES 159–165 ), right paramere with pronounced striae and the forewing without brown spots in anal, cup and cua cells ( Fig. 159 View FIGURES 159–165 ).
Male. Color (in plate and 80% ethanol). Head ( Fig. 161 View FIGURES 159–165 ) with two diagonal spots from the basal margin of the compound eyes to the ocellar area and epistomal suture, frons, clypeus and labrum dark brown, genae, postgenae and subgenae cream. Ochre to black compound eyes. Forewing ( Fig. 159 View FIGURES 159–165 ) hyalines, veins brown, anal cell basally pale brown. Hindwings ( Fig. 160 View FIGURES 159–165 ) hyalines, veins brown. Epiproct, paraprocts and phallosome pale brown to light brown. Hypandrium brown. Legs pale brown.
Morphology. As in diagnosis, plus the following: Head ( Fig. 161 View FIGURES 159–165 ): H/MxW: 1.15; compound eyes large, pedunculated, H/D: 2.43; IO/MxW: 0.71. Vertex V–shaped wide, below upper level of compound eyes. Outer cusp of lacinial tips with six-eight denticles; Mx4/Mx2: 1.10. Forewings ( Fig. 159 View FIGURES 159–165 ): L/W: 2.60. Pterostigma: lp/wp: 3.56, areola postica: al/ah: 1.33. Hindwings ( Fig. 160 View FIGURES 159–165 ): l/w: 2.94. Hypandrium ( Fig. 164 View FIGURES 159–165 ) asymmetrical, with medial band of numerous setae on tubercles arranged longitudinally, with teeth of uniform size on the left margin of the medial band, right margin with small and abundant stretch marks. Phallosome ( Fig. 165 View FIGURES 159–165 ) rhomboid, asymmetric, with right lobular paramere and with well-marked striae, aedeagus apically acuminate and curved to the right. Epiproct pyriform, with setae and abundant spicules as illustrated ( Fig. 162 View FIGURES 159–165 ). Paraprocts ( Fig. 163 View FIGURES 159–165 ) oval with abundant microspicules, straight apical process, shorter than the rest of the paraproct, ending in a small, curved hook, sensory fields with 36 trichobothria on basal rosettes.
