Notes — 1. A widespread species often split in several varieties. Some of these varieties are rightfully raised to species rank. However, the differences between L. juncea View in CoL , L. sericea View in CoL and L. cuneata View in CoL are too small to separate them at any level.

2. Remarkable for this species are the very short, almost sessile inflorescences.
