Distribution. Dominican Republic ( Gates 1972, as “San Domingo”; Fragoso & Brown 2007; Rodríguez et al. 2007).
Remarks. The species was first recorded from the Dominican Republic on unpublished interceptions from 1892 by the United States Bureau of Plant Quarantin ( Gates 1972).
