Current name: Chardinia orientalis (L.) Kuntze View in CoL ( Asteraceae ).
Note: Although Linnaeus did not study Tournefort’s herbarium, and the sheet indicated as the type by Hilliard & Burtt is not original material for the name, the absence of any original material means that Hilliard & Burtt’s choice can be treated as a neotypification (under Art. 9.8).
