Sundagrapha Holloway, 1982 View in CoL
Sundagrapha Holloway, 1982 View in CoL , in: Barlow (1982: 251).
Type species: Lomographa tenebrosa Swinhoe, 1902 View in CoL , by original designation.
Diagnosis. As summarised by Holloway (1982; 1994), this genus resembles Zamarada Moore in characters of the antennae, wing venation and the lack of a basal fovea in the male forewing. This combination of characters distinguishes both genera from the close relatives listed by Fletcher (1974). However, the distinct pattern and colouration differentiate the genus from Zamarada . In addition, the genus Sundagrapha can be distinguished from other related genera based on a combination of several genitalia characters: 1. The aedeagus has a large, asymmetrical cornutus in the vesica; the basal part of the cornutus is rectangular, with the edges of both long sides rolled inward and a single long spine asymmetrically protruding from the distal end of one side (this feature was described by Holloway as 'two unequal cornuti'). 2. The valvae are roughly triangular, with a curved, setose ridge extending from the apex to the base. 3. The lamella antevaginalis is quite large and consists of a broad plate encircled on each side by irregular ridges.
Distribution. Singapore, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Laos, China (Hainan).
