Type material. Holotype: ♂ ( MHBU-ARA-00022224 ), CHINA: Yunnan Province, Pingbian County, Daweishan National Park , 22.9057°N, 103.6980°E, 2101 m elev., 8 August 2019, leg. Y. Mu, Y. Chen, L. Zhao. GoogleMaps

Paratypes: 6♀ ( MHBU-ARA-00022223 ), same data as holotype.

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the type locality. Noun in apposition.

Diagnosis. Male is similar to E. nanjiabawa Wang & Zhang, 2023 , but differs in: (1) the much narrower embolic disc; (2) the smaller epigynal window. Female epigyne also shows similarity with E. tianhe Wang & Zhang, 2023 , but can be distinguished by: (1) the smaller epigynal window; (2) the thicker copulatory ducts.

Description. Male. Habitus shown in Figs 78, 80 View FIGURES 78–86 . Carapace length 1.513; abdomen length 1.224. Measurements of eyes: AME 0.295, ALE 0.242, PME 0.071, PLE 0.190. Measurements of legs: I 2.238 (0.751, 0.377, 0.477, 0.346, 0.287), II 1.967 (0.678, 0.323, 0.407, 0.291, 0.268), III 2.368 (0.833, 0.316, 0.467, 0.452, 0.300), IV 2.780 (0.911, 0.365, 0.527, 0.572, 0.405); leg formula: 4312. Color in ethanol: carapace dark, with yellowish-white setae. Abdomen dark, with light bands and patches. Chelicera ( Fig. 82 View FIGURES 78–86 ) with two promarginal and one retromarginal teeth. Palp ( Figs 83–84 View FIGURES 78–86 , 87–90 View FIGURES 87–93 ): femur, patella and tibia covered with dense white setae; embolic disc narrow, plane of embolic disc horizontal in ventral view; CyF developed; RTA straight.

Female. Habitus see Figs 79, 81 View FIGURES 78–86 . Carapace length 1.540; abdomen length 1.224. Measurements of eyes: AME 0.309, ALE 0.210, PME 0.068, PLE 0.211. Measurements of legs: I 2.270 (0.762, 0.382, 0.484, 0.351, 0.305), II 1.997 (0.689, 0.328, 0.413, 0.295, 0.272), III 2.531 (0.846, 0.321, 0.474, 0.458, 0.432), IV 2.824 (0.928, 0.370, 0.535, 0.580, 0.411); leg formula: 4312. Color in ethanol: similar to that of male, but with large longitudinal mark behind fovea. Chelicerae as in male. Epigyne (85–86, 91–93): epigynal window located anteriorly, wider than long, posterior margin relatively remote from the genital furrow; copulatory openings located on the posterior margin of the epigynal window; copulatory ducts hidden by the spermathecae in dorsal view; spermathecae globular, entirely posterior to the posterior rim of the epigynal window in ventral view.
