Subspecies: H. s. caucasicus Satunin, 1902.
Distribution: Uncommon; confined to mountain caves in the Orontes Basin, as well as to the coastal and southwestern regions ( Fig. 81 View FIGURE 81 ).
Previous records: Hayalien, Slenfeh, Barqash, Bloudan, Maalula, Yabroud, Qatura, Qal’at Sheizar, Camp Faouar, and Mount Hermon ( Benda et al. 2006), and Slenfeh ( Al-Ramadan et al. 2020).
