Subspecies: Monotypic species.
Distribution: Common in mountains and wooded valleys of coastal, western and southwestern regions ( Fig. 78 View FIGURE 78 ).
Previous records: Banias, Maalula, Kasab, Rabi’ah, Ras Al-Baseet, Serghaya and Slenfeh ( Benda et al. 2003a, b, 2004a), Damascus, Slenfeh, Banias ( Hulva et al. 2004), Jabla, Kasab, Latakia, Qal’at Salah ad-Din, ar-Rawda near Rabi’ah, Ras Al-Baseet, Slenfeh, Bloudan, Maalula, Serghaya, Yabroud, Qal’at Al-Hosson, and Banias ( Benda et al. 2006).
