Subspecies: R. h. minimus von Heuglin, 1861.

Distribution: Common in caves of the mountainous habitats and wooded valleys in the northwestern, coastal and southwestern regions ( Fig. 60 View FIGURE 60 ).

Previous records: Basofan and Qal’at Al-Marqab ( Shehab et al. 2006b), Qal’at Salah ad-Din, Barqash, Yabroud, Qal’at Al-Hosson, and Qanawat ( Benda et al. 2006), and Hamama ( Shehab et al. 2007).

Recent records: Hamam Wasil and Al-Sflyah (2021).
