Distribution: Uncommon; confined to the wooded mountainous and coastal regions of the west ( Fig. 67 View FIGURE 67 ).
Previous records: Aleppo and Camp Faouar ( Spitzenberger 1979), Qal’at Al-Hosson ( Harrison & Lewis 1961; Nadachowski et al. 1990), Latakia, Qal’at Salah ad-Din, Qal’at Al-Marqab, Jeiroud, Qal’at Al-Hosson, and Mount Hermon ( Benda et al. 2006), Qal’at Al-Hosson ( Shehab et al. 2007), and Al-Dawwar Cave ( Al-Ramadan et al. 2020).
