Subspecies: B. p. physalus Linnaeus, 1758 .
Status: Regular; stranded dead on the coast of Al-Hamidiyah/Khrabih in 2010 ( Ibrahim 2011a). Recent records: 12 km southwest of Latakia (2021) ( Fig. 112 View FIGURE 112 ).
