Subspecies: S. e. etruscus (Savi, 1822) .
Distribution: Abundant with a wide distribution in Mesopotamia, Aleppo along the coastal region, Orontes Basin, and towards the southwestern region ( Fig. 52 View FIGURE 52 ).
Previous records: ar-Raqqa ( Ebenau1996), Qal’atAl-Hosson (Rzebik-Kowalska& Nadachowski1978; Nadachowski et al. 1990), Mhardeh ( Kock & Nader 1983), Tell Sheikh Hamad ( Krupp & Schneider 1991; Kock et al. 1994), Yahmool ( Shehab & Charabi 2006), Serghaya, Al-Mozirieb, Ebla Citadel ( Shehab 2002), and Qal’at Sukkara, Tell Al-Buderi, and es-Salihiyyeh ( Hutterer & Kock 2002).
Recent records: Fadrah, Deir Hbash, Salqeen (2020), az-Zabadani (2021), and Tell Hidiah (2022).
