Subspecies: N. i. bacheri Nehring, 1897 and N. i. myosura (Wagner, 1845).
Distribution: Common with a wide distribution along the Euphrates Valley and in Mesopotamia. ( Fig. 42 View FIGURE 42 )
Previous records: Sheikh Hassan ( Misonne 1957), Qal’at er-Rahba and Tell Abu Hurera, west bank of Lake Assad, 5 km north of Tabqah ( Kock & Nader 1983), es- Salihiyyeh, Qal’at er-Rahba, Tell Al Buderi, Qater Maghara, Halabiyyeh, and el- Ukersheh (Shehab et al. 2004) and Jabal Abd Al-Aziz ( Daoud & Khalil 2009c).
Remarks: The subspecies N. i. bacheri Nehring, 1897 was reported from Tell Abu Hurera ( Kock & Nader 1983), and N.i. myosura (Wagner, 1845) from Sheikh Hassan ( Misonne 1957). The ranges of these subspecies are geographically separated by the Euphrates River.
