USA: Georgia (new state record): Clarke Co.: two individuals from two sites. Caught in flight trap from 19 May – 2 June 2020.
Distribution.
Eastern North America into Central America.
Saproxylic habits.
Adults occur on dead beech ( Fagus grandifolia Ehrh. ( Fagaceae )) ( Beutenmuller 1893; de Tonnancour et al. 2017) and may consume hickory as well ( Blatchley and Leng 1916).
