Genus Armascirus Den Heyer, 1978
Generic diagnosis. Dorsum of palpal basifemur ( Den Heyer 1978) with a simple seta; palpal telofemur armed with a spine–like dorsal seta; apophysis present on palpal genu; female palp with a median spine–like apophysis on palpal telofemur, which is lacking in males. Dorsal propodosoma with plates, dorsal chaetotaxy includes two pairs of fine setose sensillae ( vi and sce), with posterior pair ( sce) longest, six pairs of tactile setae in dorso–central and three pairs of dorso–lateral series. Anal region with a pair of anal setae and two pairs of para–anal setae. Proximal sensory complex on dorsal aspect of tarsus I with famulus (fam). Chaetotaxy of telofemora I–IV include 4–4 4–4 sts, respectively and chaetotaxy of coxal plates I–IV 3–1 (or 2 in ♀) or 2 (resp. 1 in ♂)–3–3 sts, respectively.
