Diagnosis
Nymph: Abdominal gill I inserted ventrally* ( Fig. 2O).
Imago: Longitudinal veins of front wing geminated (two veins are geminated when they are so close each other that they seem to be one; Fig. 4C, D); vein R3 divergent to R1 ( Fig. 4C, D); vein Rs bifurcated next to the base of front wing ( Fig. 4C, D); cubito-anal sector of front wing reduced ( Fig. 4C, D); pedestal of forceps absent ( Fig. 4F–J).
Distribution
Palaearctic, Nearctic, Neotropical, Panamanian, Madagascan, Saharo-Arabian, Afrotropical and Sino-Japanese regions.
