Edwardsiana Zachvatkin, 1929: 262 ( Type: Cicada rosae Linnaeus, 1758 )
Diagnosis
Hind wings with 2 or 1 apical cells due to formation of vein R+M. Male abdominal apodemes large. Apex of male subgenital plate without small spines and pygofer with two groups of bristles, one at apical margin and one at base. Style without tooth at apex and aedeagus with two pairs of symmetrical processes at apex.
