Remarks
The present identification for this poorly-studied species follows the drawing by Pilsbry (1900, pl. XII, figs. 4–5), which was reproduced by Simone (2006, fig. 894A), and the syntype photographed by Breure and Tardy (2020, figs. 86–88).
Geographic distribution
Brazil: Bahia, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul states ( Simone 2006; Miquel et al. 2007), not previously recorded from the city of Rio de Janeiro.
