Current name: Croton laccifer L. View in CoL ( Euphorbiaceae ).
Note: Specific epithet spelled “lacciferum” in the protologue.
Chakrabarty & Balakrishnan indicated more than one Hermann collection (vol. 2: 54; 3: 54; 4: 38, BM) as the type. As the specimens appear to be part of a single gathering (Art. 9.15), their choice is accepted, with Philcox subsequently restricting this to the material in vol. 3: 54.
