One ♀ syntype with labels: “ ♀ St Catherina, Brésil, Mr H de Saussure” [handwritten on ruled white card with “ Brésil ” printed]; “ Gryllodes parvipennis Sauss. ” [handwritten on green paper]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper]. Both antennae, the claw of the right front leg, the entire right middle leg and both hind legs are missing. No syntypes could be located in the MNHN ( Desutter, pers. comm.). Box A 14 .
A junior synonym of Miogryllus convolutus (Johannson, 1763) .
