Distribution. Neotropical; Chile: Región de Atacama ( Lee 1991); Región de Coquimbo ( Dasch 1974); Región de Valparaíso ( Dasch 1974); Región Metropolitana ( Dasch 1974); Región del Maule ( Dasch 1974).
Comments. In the original description ( Dasch 1974: 13–14), one of the localities is “ Nequén ” in Argentina. However, Yu et al. (2016) reports the species only for Chile.
