Distribution. Neotropical; Chile ( Brullé, 1846): Región de Valparaíso ( Porter 1967b); Región Metropolitana ( Porter 1967b); Región del Libertador General Bernardo O’Higgins ( Porter 1967b); Región del Biobío ( Porter 1967b). Comments. Porter (1987) reports that the species occurs in “[…] central Chile, between the coast and the Andean foothills, from Santiago on the north (33° South Latitude) to Concepción near 37° on the south. […] ”.
