Distribution. Neotropical; Chile: Región de Coquimbo ( Lanfranco 1974a, b); Región de Valparaíso ( Holmgren 1868; Porter 1967a; Lanfranco 1974b; Prado 1988; Santos & Hoppe 2018); Región Metropolitana ( Porter 1967a; Lanfranco 1974b; Prado 1988; Porter 1998); Región del Maule ( Spinola 1851; Porter 1967a; Santos & Hoppe 2018); Región de Ñuble ( Porter 1967a) ; Región del Biobío ( Porter 1967a; Lanfranco 1974b); Región de La Araucanía ( Porter 1967a); Región de Los Lagos ( Porter 1967a; Lanfranco 1974b); Región de Magallanes y de la Antártica Chilena ( Porter 1967a; Lanfranco 1974a, b).
Comments. This species is reported by Prado (1988) amongst those parasitizing Grapholita molesta ( Lepidoptera : Tortricidae ) in Chile, from samplings carried out in the Región Metropolitana and the Región de Valparaíso. Since the exact region of collection was not specified, we include both regions in our report.
