Distribution. Chile: Región de Antofagasta ( Porter 1967b).
Comments. Porter (1987: 67) mentioned the name “ hyperbasa (Porter)” in his work. We are not aware of any hyperbasa described by Porter and therefore the name should be treated as an incorrect subsequent spelling of hyperbas Porter, 1967 .
