Neotropical; Chile: Región de Coquimbo ( Spinola 1851; Porter 1970b; Lanfranco 1974a); Región de Valparaíso: ( Porter 1970b; Jerez et al. 1977; Prado 1988); Región Metropolitana ( Porter 1970b; Prado 1988; Neira et al. 1989; Porter 1998); Región del Libertador General Bernardo O’Higgins ( Porter 1970b); Región del Maule ( Porter 1970b); Región de Ñuble ( Porter 1970b) ; Región del Biobío ( Porter 1970b); Región de La Araucanía : ( Porter 1970b); Región de Los Ríos ( Porter 1970b; Lanfranco & Cerda 1986); Región de Los Lagos ( Porter 1970b; Lanfranco 1974a); Región Aysén del General Carlos Ibáñez del Campo ( Porter 1970b); Región de Magallanes y de la Antártica Chilena ( Porter 1970b; Lanfranco 1974a).
Comments. This species is reported by Prado (1988) amongst those parasitizing Grapholita molesta ( Lepidoptera : Tortricidae ) in Chile, from samplings carried out in the Región Metropolitana and the Región de Valparaíso. Since the exact region of collection was not specified, we include both regions in our report.
