Type material. Holotype ( AM).
Type locality. Queensland, Keppel Bay, Emu Park .
Material examined. South China Sea. Guangxi Province of China, MBM 100143, 18– 23 m, 2 spms, BL 9.0–11.5 mm, 26.05.1978.
Distribution. Northeastern Queensland, Vietnam (from Cau to Cat Ba islands) and Guangxi Province of South China.
Remarks. The species is rather abundant in Vietnamese part of the Beibu Gulf ( Gulf of Tongkin). In the Guangxi Province the species was documented for the first time.
