Collection information.

USA: Georgia: Clarke Co.: 11 individuals from eight sites. Caught in flight trap from 25 March – 2 June 2020.

Distribution.

Eastern United States.

Saproxylic habits.

Adults occur under bark and in wood of pine snags ( Howden and Vogt 1951); larvae of Rhyncolus Germar, 1817 develop in dead wood ( Anderson 1952).
