Etymology. The species is named after Mr. Shuo Qi, the collector of the holotype and paratypes; noun (name) in genitive case.
Diagnosis. The new species is similar to S. leigongshanensis Jin & Zhang, 2020 by having an extremely enlarged atrium, but it can be distinguished by the atrium being longer than wide, and the copulatory ducts merge with each other ( vs. length and width are equal and copulatory ducts are separated in S. leigongshanensis ).
Description. Female ( holotype). Total length 12.01; carapace 5.01 long, 3.89 wide, opisthosoma 7.00 long, 3.74 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.27, ALE 0.23, PME 0.23, PLE 0.25, AME–AME 0.21, AME–ALE 0.19, PME–PME 0.34, PME–PLE 0.35, AME–PME 0.23, ALE–PLE 0.30. Chelicerae with three promarginal and five retromarginal teeth. Leg measurements: I 14.14 (4.05, 5.05, 3.23, 1.81), II 13.63 (4.01, 4.72, 3.14, 1.76), III 11.83 (3.51, 3.85, 2.93, 1.54), IV 15.96 (4.46, 5.42, 4.45, 1.63). Leg spination: I tibia 4-4v, metatarsus 2-2v; II tibia 4-4v, metatarsus 2-2v; III tibia 2-2v, metatarsus 3-3v; IV tibia 2-2v, metatarsus 3-3v.
Coloration ( Fig. 4 View Figure 4 ). Carapace black, covered with white setae. Chelicerae black. Endites and labium dark brown. Sternum brown. Legs red-brown with black setae. Opisthosoma oval, dark brown, dorsum with two irregular white spots, laterally brown, ventrum brown. Spinnerets short, brown.
Epigyne ( Fig. 3 View Figure 3 ). Atrium longer than wide. Copulatory ducts heavily sclerotized, close together, wider than long. Glandular appendage located at middle of copulatory ducts. Spermathecae oval. Fertilization ducts directed at clock 1:00 position from spermathecae.
Male. Unknown.
Material examined. Holotype ♀ (IZCAS-Ar43828), China: Guangxi, Nanning City, Wuming District , Daming Mount. ( 23.5130°N, 108.4414°E, elev. 1235 m), 20 April 2020, Shuo Qi leg. Paratypes. 2♀ (IZCAS-Ar43829, Ar43830), same data as holotype GoogleMaps .
Distribution. Known only from the type locality.
