TYPE SPECIES. — Gubuzhu orientalis X.-T. Xu & C. Waichert , n. sp.; monotypic genus.
ETYMOLOGY. — From Chinese ‘gu’ (古), meaning ‘ancient’, and ‘buzhu’ (捕蛛), meaning ‘catching spider’. Gender feminine.
