General distribution. Distributed in most of European countries, North Africa, Cyprus, Anatolia, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Pakistan ( Nieser & Moubayed 1985, Polhemus 1995, Protić 1998, Biesiadka & Kurzątkowska 2003, Soós et al. 2009, Kanyukova 2006).

Comment. The specimens from Suluhan identified as N. glauca hybrida by Hoberlandt (1952a) belong in fact to N. maculata .
