Nomenclatural notes:— Hassler (1919) described this taxon based on two collections ( Hassler 6096 and Hassler 12311) rendering them syntypes and without explicitly stating where this material was deposited. Carauta (1989) designated Hassler 12311 in G as the lectotype. There are two sheets of Hassler 12311 in G, each of them bearing its own label and they are not cross-labeled (Art. 8.3), indicating that these sheets should be treated as duplicates rather than a single specimen. We designate G00307292 as the second-step lectotype because it represents the most complete and diagnostic specimen.
