( Figs 1 View FIGURE 1 , 2 View FIGURE 2 )
Diagnosis. Females of this species are similar to those of N. tenuicornis Bouček, 1970 in having the postmarginal vein shorter than the marginal vein ( Fig. 2A View FIGURE 2 ), gaster without any reddish-orange colour ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ), propodeum with postspiracular furrow absent ( Fig. 2B View FIGURE 2 ) and in having POL longer than OOL ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ). Females can be separated from those of N. tenuicornis by the following: posterior margin of Gt 1 being conspicuously sinuous to double-incised ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ) vs straight or almost straight ( Mitroiu 2015: fig. 196), first anellus transverse and second anellus quadrate ( Fig. 1D View FIGURE 1 ) vs both anelli transverse ( Mitroiu 2015: fig. 198), marginal vein 3.1× as long as postmarginal vein ( Fig. 2A View FIGURE 2 ) vs marginal vein 1.5× as long as postmarginal vein ( Mitroiu 2015: fig. 199), clypeus dorsally striate ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ) vs clypeus dorsally reticulate ( Mitroiu 2015: fig. 197), and all tibiae uniformly pale yellow ( Fig. 2D View FIGURE 2 ) vs fore tibia yellowish-brown, and mid and hind tibiae medially brown ( Mitroiu 2015: fig. 195).
Type material. Holotype ♀, Iran, North Khorasan province, Maneh and Samalqan County, Qaleh-Khan village ( 37°30’32”N, 56°46’50”E, 840 m a.s.l.), Malaise trap, 09.07.2018, leg. Z. Rahmani ( DPPZ). GoogleMaps
Description. FEMALE. Body length 1.9 mm, fore wing 1.2 mm.
Colour. Head and mesosoma black with slight metallic blue reflections ( Figs 1A–C, E, F View FIGURE 1 ). Metasoma dark brown, with little metallic reflections ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ). Eyes pale red, ocelli whitish ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ). Mandibles light brown, teeth dark brown ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ). Antenna brownish-yellow (except base of scape and pedicel, first anellus, and apex of clava lighter) ( Fig. 1D View FIGURE 1 ). Wings hyaline; tegula brownish-yellow; venation, setae pale yellow ( Fig. 2A View FIGURE 2 ). Legs with coxae concolourous with mesosoma; trochanters and femora dark brown except femora pale yellow distally; all tibiae and tarsi uniformly pale yellow except the last segment of tarsi dark brown; claws dark brown ( Fig. 2D View FIGURE 2 ).
Sculpture. Head reticulate except lower face striate, striae not reaching below the lower margin of eyes ( Figs 1A‒C View FIGURE 1 ). Mesosoma dorsally coarsely reticulate ( Fig. 1E View FIGURE 1 ); dorsellum and propodeum finely reticulate ( Fig. 2B View FIGURE 2 ). Gastral terga alutaceous except Gt 1 smooth ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ).
Head. In frontal view 1.2× as wide as high ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ); in dorsal view width 1.8× its length ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ). Eye height in frontal view 1.46× as long as malar space ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ) and in lateral view 1.4× its length ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ); eye in dorsal view 2.2× as long as temple ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ). Clypeal margin very shallowly emarginate ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ). Scrobes shallow ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ), not visible in dorsal view. Antenna with scape reaching slightly above level of vertex; flagellum with first anellus transverse, the second quadrate; all funiculars longer than wide, decreasing in length distally, with Fu 1 2.33× and Fu 6 1.3× as long as wide ( Fig. 1D View FIGURE 1 ); clava with long terminal spine ( Fig. 1D View FIGURE 1 ). Toruli closer to clypeal margin than to median ocellus. POL 1.85× as long as OOL ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ).
Mesosoma . Mesosoma 1.55× as long as wide ( Fig.1E View FIGURE 1 ); mesoscutum1.7×as wide as long( Fig. 1E View FIGURE 1 ); mesoscutellum 0.8× as long as wide, without frenal line ( Fig. 1E View FIGURE 1 ). Propodeum 0.6× as long as mesoscutellum, with oval spiracles and without postspiracular furrow ( Fig. 2B View FIGURE 2 ); callus with sparse whitish setae ( Fig. 1F View FIGURE 1 ). Fore wing 2.5× as long as wide; basal fold and basal cell bare except two setae in distal part of basal cell; speculum moderate, extending to parastigma; marginal vein 3.1× as long as postmarginal vein and 2.18× as long as stigmal vein; postmarginal vein 0.65× as long as stigmal vein ( Fig. 2A View FIGURE 2 ).
Metasoma. Gaster acuminate, 2.16× as long as wide, almost as long as head plus mesosoma; Gt 1 0.2× as long as metasoma, with posterior margin double-incised ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ).
MALE. Unknown.
Etymology. The name is in reference to the very short postmarginal vein of the fore wing ( Fig. 2A View FIGURE 2 ).
Distribution. Iran.
