Norbanus Walker, 1843: 158 View in CoL . Type species: Norbanus dysaules Walker, 1843 View in CoL , by subsequent designation of Ashmead, 1904: 320.
Diagnosis. Antenna in female with two anelli and six funiculars, clava with a more or less well-defined terminal spine; pronotum short and slightly narrower to almost as broad as mesoscutum; prepectus very small, dorsal length clearly shorter than tegula; propodeum raised-reticulate, without plicae or median carina; hind tibia with 2 spurs ( Bouček & Rasplus 1991; Mitroiu 2015).
