The holotype of Cecropterus (Thorybes) oaxacensis Grishin, 2023
The original description illustrated the holotype of Cecropterus (Thorybes) oaxacensis Grishin, 2023 (type locality Mexico: Oaxaca , Tlalixtac de Cabrera , Hwy 175 , ca. 5 mi north of Oaxaca City) when it was pinned through its side, unspread (Zhang et al. 2023b). Here, we use this opportunity and publish photographs of the holotype after it has been dissected and spread, to facilitate recognition of this specimen ( Fig. 52 View Fig ). The holotype is in the University of Texas Insect Collection, Austin, TX, USA .
